The week
The Summit Reformed Youth Conference is a week-long conference designed to promote spiritual growth and Christian fellowship among high school age young people and young adult singles in our churches.
There are five main worship sessions, at least four breakout sessions, daily devotions, sports tournaments, Out-Day activities, free-time games and a talent show. Not into sports? There’s a big collection of board and card games, and outdoor games like Nine-Square, human Dutch Blitz and Can-Jam.
“To encourage, edify and equip the youth of Christ's church to live their lives to the glory and honor of God.”Summit Youth goal

Details
From the 2026 conference. Anything that changes for 2027 will be updated here.
You stay on campus in the West Residence apartments of Mount Royal University. Every registrant honours all campus rules and respects University property, and is held responsible for reckless damage.
In 2026 the Out-Day options were white water rafting, hiking in Kananaskis, the Calgary Zoo, a Bow River float and downhill karting. You choose one when you register.
Summit takes online credit card payments, made at the time of registration. Churches can still pay for a group by credit card. In 2026, registration with an Out-Day was $485 to $605.
Daily meals and evening snacks are provided all week. A food card can be used at the MRU café and, if room permits, other campus vendors like Tim Hortons or Jugo Juice.
A chaperone is a single or married adult, 18 or older, who can command the obedience and respect of young people. Chaperones supervise their own group and help the Summit staff. They pay the same fee as everyone else.
Summit expects attendees to keep the rules, so that God may be glorified in the behaviour and conduct of everyone there. Checking the box at registration means you agree to them.

Getting there
Flight delayed past the last Monday bus? Arrange a taxi or Uber, or ask your parents to help you get to campus; Summit staff can’t pick you up. Plan on an hour or two of waiting at the airport on Monday and Friday.
Speakers, Summit 2026
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever, the Spirit of truth.” John 14:16-17a. The 2026 breakouts walked through the fruit of the Spirit.

Good questions
Yes. At every Summit, young people come by themselves, and when they leave they have forged new relationships and friendships.
Young people who have completed grade 9 through grade 12 (grade 12 grads register as young people), and post-high singles under the age of 30.
A church that sends a group needs a chaperone (ideally 2 for every 10 young people). If your church sends only 1 or 2 young people and cannot send a chaperone, contact us and we can make an exception.
Yes. Before June 1 we can usually give a full refund; after June 1 perhaps only a partial refund; and no refunds within 4 to 5 weeks of the event, because rooms, food, T-shirts, Out-Day tickets and buses are paid for in advance.
